Differences between flash memories

Spawning from another thread, whats the difference between 2 different memory sticks that offer the same size, but are priced to differently?

As with most components, its going to be speed and reliability. A more expensive flash drive will probably have faster read/write speeds.

Or security - some devices come with finger printing or other secure mangement software.
