Hi

i am hoping that someone can help me out with a problem that we have been having when my daughter uses the buildabearville website.

she has been using this site for ages without any bother but a few weeks ago when she went to log on the screen moved on to the loading bit and then a message appeared saying she was being returned to the log in screen. This is happening all the time - same message and she can't get passed her log in.

we have emailed the build a bear people who are not very helpful - they say her account is working fine as far as they can see. They suggested that I go into tools, then internet options and then delete the temporary files in my internet history - this has not worked.

my daughter is driving me mad and I have not got a flipping scooby on how it can be fixed. has something been deleted from the pc to make this happen .............or what? I can't understand it.

Please help before I go insane.

Thanks every so much

Pam

Hi Pam,

It sounds like that you are able to login, but that it then just sends you back to the login page? If that is correct, then I'd say that your browser has stopped accepting cookies for some reason. (I am assuming that you are using Internet Explorer)

Goto Tools --> Internet Options --> Security

Change the slider to 'Medium-High' if it is not already there. Next, goto 'Privacy' and select the slider to 'Medium'.

Try the site again. If that doesn't work, then:

go back to Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced

Click 'Reset' and reset your browser.

Try the site again. Let us know how you get on!
