PnP problem on my Laptop

Hi Guys,
Could anyone assist to solve this problem
I have had difficulties to use my usb wifi card. It powers up but could not be decteted by the windows, I suspected a problem with the plug and play software.
I have gone through the device manager to query conflicts but there is no conflicts,
I have even used the recovery disk to re-load the window but no success.
Any suggestions please:D

If you have done a complete format and reinstallation of windows, then it can only be 1 of 4 things:

Hardware
1) Problem with WIFI card
2) Problem with USB sockets
3) Problem with motherboard

Software
4) Problem with WIFI driver

Is it all usb devices that you have issues with, or just this one? If its the latter, try downloading up to date drivers. If that doesn't work then get a replacement card.

What I think is that problem can be with the wifi card. Else it would have at least showed some error. I would suggest you to try it again and if you are unsuccessful then please replace it. http://www.discount-office-needs.co.uk/Computer-Accessories/27/
