LG M228WA Monitor Driver Issues

Hey ~

I've just got the LG M229WA monitor for xmas (22" widescreen with built in tv-tuner) (OH YEAH).

But, I'm having trouble getting my laptop to accept it. I plugged it in and the computer recognised it and then using the display options I was able to move my primary desktop to it and use my laptop screen as the secondary.

However, an hour later it stopped working properly. Sometimes the monitor will display at wrong resolution or be off-centre etc.

Any ideas?

Did you try reinstalling the drivers?

You may laugh, but that was exactly the problem!! It was relying on vista generic drivers before. When I installed from the cd, it worked! :smilegrin:
