I have a Toshiba Equim A200 and my computer keeps crashing. When I ran diagnostics, it says that my hard drive is faulty - yet it seems to work fine when reading/writing data. I've defragged and formatted but still gives the problem and faulty warning. Is there another test I can do?

If the diagnostic software is saying that your hard drive is faulty, then by all chances it is. Back up all your stuff and just buy a new one. You can get a good 2.5" hdd for reasonable prices on dabs (i should get a commission for referring so many people there!!!)

I think thats the realisation that I'm coming to. Are there any limitations on the size that I could get?

As long as the computer is less than a few years old (which the Equium range is) then there should be able to use any 2.5" drive currently available.

The Equium may also have a 2nd hard drive bay, in which case you could get 2 new hard drives!
