new printer

I'm buying a new printer for my parents, what should I go for? They have a 2 year old computer and want color and don't print too much.

Do they have a scanner?

Even if they do, i'd prob still suggest going for an all-in-one hp or epson. They pretty cheap, pretty reliable and ... well... pretty!

They do have a scanner, but its about 8 years old. I've had a look at HP all-in-one machines. It seems the cheapest and the cartridges aren't too expensive to replace.

That seems a reasonable trade off.

A more up to date scanner will probably be of better resolution too.
