dvd not working

My dvd drive doesn't work, when I put the disc in nothing happens. What should i do?

Probably best ask the standard questions,

Is it plugged in, is the usb cable (or whatever) attached? Is the disc dirty?

If yes to all of those, try using a lense cleaner disc.
