Default suPHP session_start()

Since upgrading my server to use suPHP, I get the following error whenever I try to use the Wordpress Automatic Upgrade plugin.

Quote:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp/sess_6a5a350680698c843f1b3479b004eda5, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/sms/public_html/index.php on line 2

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/sms/public_html/index.php:2) in /home/sms/public_html/index.php on line 2

Warning: Unknown: open(/tmp/sess_6a5a350680698c843f1b3479b004eda5, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0

Help please!

Default

I found the problem to be the fact that the files didn't use the right permissions. Since switching to chmod 755 everything, it now works.
