Default Which printer?

Hi guys, im looking for a new printer for up to about £50-£70. From what i have read the canons seem to be the best but im not sure which model is best for me. There are both ip and mp ranges. I will be using it for mostly text and document printing, but also for photo printing from a dslr and would like the photo quality to be good.
Any opinions or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.

The options include: Canon, Lexmark, Epson and HP. However, i'd suggest buying an HP. However, no matter what you buy, be careful with the ink cartridges (if you're buying an inkjet!) as manufcturers usually supply them with smll capacity cartridges.

I would suggest you to buy a HP printer. I have used canon and found the performance unsatisfactory.

After a fair amount of googleing, I can't seem to find the HP 2678. Can you provide a link?
