Default acer aspire 5735 problem

Hope someone can be of help, my acer laptop has a blank screen with only the cursor visible, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi harveymolly

Your post is over a week old but if you still have a problem at boot keep tapping F8 and go in to safe mode (i take it your OS will be XP / Vista) go in to system restore and pick a date before your problem started, post back the results as there are a few other things that can be tried.
