Invalid HELO name

When sending an e-mail, I got the following error:

Task 'mail.*************' - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1)'

Any ideas? The problem only happens every now and then!

Since it happens intermittently, I'd say that it is because your computer's hostname has invalid characters.

Goto Start --> Run --> cmd

Check your hostname - if there is a non alphanumeric character, then that is your cause!
