Does your usb modem not have an ethernet port?

In order to set up the wireless router, you would need to configure it with the settings that came with your usb modem. Do you have the manual for the belkin router?

The USB modem isn't designed to be plugged directly into teh XBOX 360 - which I'm guessing is the source of your errors?

Does your computer have an ethernet card? I think that the easiest way to accomplish is to use your existing modem. You need to get either 2 ethernet cables and a hub, or something called an ethernet 'crossover' cable. This will allow you to plug your XBOX360 network port into your computer.

What OS is your computer running?
Need to know your IP? Need to find WHOIS data for a website or IP address? Want to know your Google PageRank? Then you need Domain Tools!
