Firewalls and cookies!
I work at a University, and I can access my emails, etc from home. Never had a problem until today. It will let me go to the main site, but won't let me get to the part that is for internal staff. It says:
Log On Required
We are unable to validate your browser. This may be due to any one of the following reasons:
Your browser does not support cookies.
Security settings are blocking cookies.
A firewall or proxy is blocking cookies.
You are not accessing the site via its fully qualified domain name.
Your computer is configured in the wrong time zone.
Please correct the problem and try again.
Now I have tried doing all sorts of things to the cookies...and am now at a loss as to what to do. It has worked before no problem, why now?! Advice would be much appreciated!
With it being a college computer, I would suggest a simple restart - or log in to a different computer. Does this work?
Need to know your IP? Need to find WHOIS data for a website or IP address? Want to know your Google PageRank? Then you need Domain Tools!
I am trying to access it from my HOME computer. At work, I can access everything fine. Any suggestions?
