Hi folks
As an older generation newbie to the site, this is probably a very simple question but here I go anyway.
What software do I need so I can open and actually watch videos on my laptop please? They open (after an age) but I don't seem to have enough memory or whatever I need to actually watch them.
I have XP on an HP Notebook laptop with 100g hard drive. I can't remember what the memory is (or where to look to tell you!)Hope someone can help anyway.
Best regards
Greko
Hi Greko,
To watch online content, you generally only need Adobe Flash Player installed. If they're slow loading then that will be due to the internet connection being slow.
When you say you don't have enough memory to watch them, is it just the fact that they're slow to load or do you get an error message?

Need to know your IP? Need to find WHOIS data for a website or IP address? Want to know your Google PageRank? Then you need Domain Tools!
Ah, you may have hit it straight away RecT,
I do have Adobe Flash Player but I use one of these Vodafone Lite plug in USB modems (at 56kbps it says!) so that's probably why they take forever to load then only play milliseconds at a time.
Until I can afford a landline out here in Greece (which is wicked cost as they all use mobiles) then I shall have to go without. Still, the sun does shine here......
Many thanks anyway for your kind reply.
Cheers
Greko
