    Default Devices disabled

Every time I start up my computer I get the following message in a little box at the bottom right of the screen.
    DEvices or applocation disabled
"CD recording software" will cause windows to become unstable. Windows has prevented these drivers froom loading.

Which drivers will these be and how can I stop this message coming up?
My CD recording software, Nero, is still functionong perfectly ok. I am on Windows XP.

It sounds like you (or a malicious website) have installed a piece of software that the computer disagrees with. When did this problem start and have you installed anything just before it to cause this to happen?

Unfortunately "CD Recording Software" is very non-descript so it would be a little difficult to isolate the problem driver. My suggestion would be to run System Restore and return to a point before the problem occured - provided of course that you havent installed something that you couldn't replace in that time (documents and other files would be unaffected).
