    Default Bigger Resolution on TFT

I'm using a Samsung tft with a max resolution of 1024x768 and is 15". When I set a higher resolution, like 1280x1024 it still displays a picture. Does this damage the monitor? Y does this not support 1280x1024 even though it works?

1024x768 will be the monitor's native resolution, any resolution bigger and the monitor will interporlate. This will be most noticable with small text - it will become distorted. It wont damage it in anyway, but you'll be better off sticking to the native resolution.

I checked, and small text becomes unreadable. Monitors are quite cheap now, i'll just get a bigger one. How easy is it to setup a dual monitor system? I could use the 1024x768 monitor as a secondary monitor couldn't i?

If you're talking about a laptop, then you should have 1 vga port. If a desktop has a seperate graphics card, then you should have 2 vga/dvi ports.
