Pentium 4 Overheats

My laptop has a pentium 4 in it and is constantly overheating. I even have a notebook cooling device underneath. It never used to be like this, any ideas how to solve the problem?

Try cleaning out the heatsink on the processor. If you can't access it, buy some long stem cotton buds and run it around as much as possible. Compressed air wont work as well since this dust is probably very engrained.
